Here it is! The post you’ve been waiting for!
I am so excited to announce that the Tower Theatre will be holding the “Stage the Change” conference this May! According to the Tower, this event is “a conference empowering high school students from across the Pacific Northwest to use performing arts to find their social voice and be catalysts for change.” The goal of the conference is to inspire, teach, and engage audience members in the power of theatre while helping them find their social voice. The event will be on May 20th-21st of 2022, and will welcome Anthony Rapp (Broadway (RENT, If/Then), Film, TV Star and Author) and Elizabeth Woody (Author, Museum Director, Former Oregon Poet Laureate) as keynote speakers!
If you are interested in submitting a student showcase to perform at the event, you must do so by April 13th. For more information, please click here: https://www.towertheatre.org/education/stage-the-change/submit-for-student-showcases/
